This is not unusual. For pets who dislike water, or the treadmill, we take our time introducing them to the therapy. It may be that they only spend 5 minutes in the water, and the rest of the session is land-based physio. As time goes by their confidence will grow and they will be happy to spend more time in the water. Despite this being the normal case, there are still some pets that will never take to hydrotherapy. For these patients we adapt their therapy plan to solely land based treatments, tailored to their individual needs so they don’t miss out!
